What the Kanto data represents
This page brings together observation histories for the prefectures in Kanto. Each card counts earthquakes for which stations associated with that prefecture reported a local Shindo reading.
This is not a count of all earthquakes with an epicentre inside the region. The same event may appear in several prefecture histories, so the values should not be added together or treated as a risk ranking.
