Operator and scope

JISHINDESU is operated by Marcin Korzeniowski under the trade name CODEVERTURE. Contact: [email protected]. The operator's business address is disclosed without undue delay where required by applicable law.

The public part of the service is free to use.

Informational service

JISHINDESU provides an independent presentation of third-party earthquake information. It is not an emergency warning service, forecast or substitute for JMA, local government, emergency services or professional advice.

Users are responsible for verifying safety-critical information with official sources. Data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or corrected after publication.

Optional browser notifications are a supplementary feature and may be delayed or not delivered. Users must not rely on them or on JISHINDESU as their only source of safety information.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, circumvent limits, scrape at a rate that harms availability, misrepresent JISHINDESU as an official authority, or use the service to create misleading emergency communications.

Automated or commercial reuse may require a separate agreement and must also comply with the licences and terms of the original data providers.

Availability and liability

The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or complete accuracy. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of this service.

The operator may correct, suspend, change or discontinue all or part of the service where reasonably necessary. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party services and intellectual property

JISHINDESU does not grant any rights to materials owned by JMA, P2PQuake or other data providers.

Each source remains subject to its own licence and terms of use. Attribution displayed by JISHINDESU must not be removed.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated when the service, law or third-party requirements change. The current version and its update date are published on this page; material changes apply prospectively.

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes are submitted to the court having jurisdiction under Japanese law, without limiting any mandatory rights available to a user under applicable law.
